The curtain has just closed on Cisco Live 2020 this year in Barcelona. Cisco's message to its partners has been loud and clear: innovations to help businesses reimagining their applications, empowering their teams, securing their data, and transforming their infrastructure. The Imagicle team was at the forefront, among the top-tier sponsors of 2020. Here is our feedback on the most important Cisco event in Europe.

Code words? IoT cybersecurity, networking, and collaboration.

Cisco is central to helping customers achieve business outcomes beyond what was once thought possible, amidst the fastest and largest tech transition in history.

The sun was shining as we approached the Cisco Live Europe 2020 at Fira de Barcelona in Spain. This year’s event brought together nearly 20,000 customers, partners, and IT professionals, ready to gain and share the cutting-edge knowledge and skills to keep up with the latest transformative technologies.

In gathering the key topics around which the event revolved, we cannot leave out:

accelerating applications in a hybrid multi-cloud environment through Cisco’s new multi-domain architecture offering, to deliver full visibility within the application, network and data center, both on-prem and in the cloud;
comprehensive security architecture to lower the risk of cyber threats, and optimize industrial processes;
transforming customer and agent experiences with new contact center enhancements;
New AI-powered voice intelligence capabilities to Webex Meetings.

Additionally, Cisco continues its commitment to security and data privacy across all technology and environment.

What we’re talking about, in short, it’s a kind of technology and an innovation model that put the user experience at the very center, trying to respond to an unparalleled technological revolution requiring an ever-increasing speed and efficiency, but also ease of use and simplification.

Finally, a technology that has the least possible environmental impact – another central topic of this Cisco Live – and that is capable of having a positive influence on the planet and its inhabitants.

Calling. Your way.

This year, Imagicle celebrates its tenth birthday.

A long journey always hands in hand with Cisco, offering a range of applications increasingly capable of enriching and expanding the experience of Cisco platforms.

And that’s what we keep doing today, developing a range of solutions ready to meet the needs of our customers and further optimize the call experience.

As you know, the Cloud consumption model is becoming key in the IT industry, but traditional On-Prem standard remains the preferred solution for many customers, especially in the UC/Calling landscape.

This is the reason why, today, the market keeps offering different Calling options, from On-Prem to hosted and Cloud dedicated or shared solutions.

One thing’s sure: one model cannot fit all.

The choice depends primarily on the customer’s existing environment, requirements, and size.

Calling. Your way. was the title of the session held by Christian Bongiovanni, Imagicle Co-CEO and CTO, in the Partner Theater last Monday.

The session focused on how the integration of Imagicle applications with Cisco calling platforms can offer the most complete range of options for an excellent calling experience regardless of the deployment model (on-prem, hosted or Cloud) while providing each customer with the best fit.

Ten years later.(And we’ve just started!)

It was a Cisco Live unlike any other.

For the first time, Imagicle has participated as Tier Sponsor, showcasing its solutions into a Gold Booth conceived and created in every part with the aim of celebrating the first decade of the company and the goals achieved in this journey (with the invaluable help of the michbold design team!).

It was difficult even for us to realize how far we have come, and perhaps we truly realized it when the lights of Cisco Live came on, and we crossed the large 10-shaped portal of our booth #39.

I’m talking about an incredible growth and constant innovation that have brought to the latest astonishing news, such as the introduction of the Imagicle Cloud Licensing, new perpetual and subscription-based price lists, support service with full coverage, and many other huge news.

We go back home with the awareness of being on the right path to continue an increasingly prolific collaboration with Cisco, happy to make communications faster, smarter, and easier every day.
